Type of work we can do

We have the experience and man power to under take work ranging from minor maintenance, renovations / alterations, to extensions and new construction projects.

Doors

Hanging new doors, replacing door locks and hinges, repairing sliding doors, adjustments to sticking doors, providing new access doors to subfloor, new hatches and panels in ceilings etc.  

Painting

To exterior timbers,. fascias, pergolas, handrails, windows, painting to interior walls and ceilings, patching and painting to damaged walls and ceilings, condensation marks, etc.

Timber flooring

Supply and installation of timber flooring over sheet floors or concrete floors, sanding / polishing, and repairs to existing flooring.

Steel welding & fabrication  

Measure and fabricate almost anything out of steel, including gates, fences, handrails, pergolas, brackets and specialised shelving, structural elements to buildings, frames, covers, etc. 

How much does it cost? 

We pride ourselves in providing a quality service, on time, on budget and at competitive prices. Our quotations are fully photographed, as are invoices which help show the work done. If there are any concerns with our work, our policy is to fix first and ask questions later, the quality of our work and satisfaction of our clients is a priority!! 

Most work is charged out at an hourly rate, with a lesser rate or quoted as requested.

The standard rate is - $55.00 / hr

We don’t charge for service calls or for quotes and only the time spent on the job or purchasing materials is charged.

Material costs will be added as required, with no additional fees and surcharges, and all receipts can be presented with invoice if required.

Travel times to the job are generally not charged unless the job is more than 45 minutes’ drive from the Canberra CBD, and then it is 1 hr there and 1 hr back.

Where there is more than one tradesman involved the hourly rates apply separately to each man. Most minor maintenance such as repairs to doors, locks, windows, minor patching and painting are one-man jobs, although most larger jobs taking more than 1 day will probably be a two-man job, depending on materials handling and completion time required.

All invoices and payments to be made to IBIS unless otherwise previously agreed.
